What Restrictions Should I Be Aware of?
Though there are a vast number of places now open to Americans, there are some restrictions that you should be aware of before booking your plane ticket. A majority of “open” countries require that you show proof of a negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of departure.

What’s the Protocol For Americans Returning to the United States?
According to the travel.state.gov website, Americans returning to the United States must present a negative COVID-19 test, taken within three calendar days of departure, or proof of recovery from the virus within the last 90 days.
Airlines must confirm the negative test result or proof of recovery for all passengers two years of age and over before boarding and must deny boarding of passengers who do not provide documentation of a negative test or recovery.
