Business travel may have changed over the years, but it can still include plenty of perks. You can enjoy a bulk of those perks if you choose an airline renowned for its business class amenities. Every year, the consumer aviation website Skytrax gathers input from millions of travelers to compile a list of the best business class airlines. Here are the top four airlines with the best business class.
Qatar Airways
If you’re heading to the Middle East for business, you’ll be in for a treat if you’re flying on Qatar Airways. This airline not only consistently makes the list of best business class airlines, but it’s held the top slot for at least two years running. With Hamad International Airport as its hub, Qatar flies to more than 150 destinations.
Top business class perks include on-demand dining and a personal entertainment center stocked with music, movies, and TV shows. A Giorgio Armani amenity kit also comes with the seat, which folds down to create a fully-flat bed.
ANA All Nippon Airways
Lie-flat seating is also a business class amenity of ANA All Nippon Airways, which climbed from sixth place to second place on the list. With 97 destinations and the claim to fame as the largest airline in Japan, ANA All Nippon has multiple hubs that include Itami Airport, Narita International Airport, Kansai International Airport, and Haneda Airport.
Private in-flight entertainment is part of the business class package, as is gourmet dining. Top-notch business class seats all enjoy aisle access and generous personal space, making it similar to flying in your own private cubicle. Other business class seat options include the business cradle and the standard recliner.
Singapore Airlines
Another fully-flat bed is part of your business class experience on Singapore Airlines, with the Singapore bed measuring a notable 78 inches long. That means you’ll get to stretch out in comfort if you happen to be traveling to one of the airline’s 62 destinations from its hub at Singapore Changi Airport.
Spectacular customer service is one of the most notable perks on this airline, which also provides its business class customers with an 18-inch HD entertainment system monitor and luxury dining options. Despite its big advantages, the airline slipped from second to third place in 2017.
Etihad Airways
While still well within the top five business class airlines, Etihad Airways moved from number three to number four for 2017. As the second-largest airline of the United Arab Emirates, the airline flies from its hub at Abu Dhabi International Airport to more than 80 destinations.
A range of business class offerings is on the menu at Etihad, including an unbeatable Business Studio on select planes. Here you’ll enjoy an 18.5-inch entertainment system monitor and lie-flat beds with built-in massage options.
Even if you’re not heading to an area served by one of the four best business class airlines, the annual list from Skytrax includes another 16 top options. So grab your passport, secure your business visa, lie back, and enjoy the ride.
