US citizens do not need a visa for up to a year; however, the traveler’s passport must be valid for six months and have at least 1 blank visa page. Helpful hint: there’s a $50 departure tax upon leaving Palau.  For recent travel requirement changes and more detailed information, please refer to the State Department website. If your purpose of travel is something other than tourism or business, please fill out the Research Request Form.  Swift will determine whether or not you need a visa, and will email you instructions if you do require a visa. If at all possible, we will get back to you in the same day. Research requests are $15/request.
