Before You Apply
Know you will need to have the following basic documents when you apply for your Indonesia visa. Other documents may be requested. You will be provided with a full list of documents and requirements when you submit your order through Swift.
Valid Passport
Make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months.
Photo
You will need to submit photos for your Indonesia visa application. We strongly suggest you take a look at our photo guidelines to ensure your photo is accepted.
Supporting Documentation
You may need to provide supporting documents such as a flight itinerary for tourism, a letter or invitation for business, or a program acceptance letter for students.

For traditional visas, you’ll be asked to complete an application specific to the country you are traveling to. For e-visas, the application will be electronic.

- In order to be granted a Multiple Entry Visa, the applicant has to show proof of previous Indonesia Business Visa
- As of June 10, 2015 the government of Indonesia will allow US citizens and foreign nationals of 45 countries to enter Indonesia visa-free for stays of 30 days or less.
- The visa exemption can only be applied at 9 (nine) immigration checkpoints, as follows:
- 1. Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, Jakarta
- 2. Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali
- 3. Kualanamu International Airport, Medan
- 4. Juanda International Airport, Surabaya
- 5. Hang Nadim International Airport, Batam
- 6. Sri Bintan Pura Seaport, Tanjung Pinang
- 7. Batam Center Seaport, Batam
- 8. Sekupang Seaport, Batam
- 9. Tanjung Uban Seaport, Tanjung Uban
- This is not a work visa nor a visitation visa. Therefore, it can not be converted to obtain other immigration permits. The maximum stays permitted for the visa on arrival is 30 days. If you plan to stay longer than 30 days, you need to apply for a visa.
- Single entry visas are valid for 3 months, multiple entry visas are valid for 12 months.
- Your passport must be valid for 18 months to be eligible for a multiple-entry visa.
- TOURIST AND BUSINESS
- Visa holders can not enter the restricted regions: Aceh, Maluku, Poso, and Irian Jaya. You must obtain special authorization from the Indonesian authority. Also, you could contact the employer/sponsor company in Indonesia to obtain such permission through the Clearing Host at the Department of Foreign Affairs (DEPLU).

- Your visa is valid starting from the day it is issued. You must enter Indonesia within (90) days of issuance of the visa. You can stay in a country up to (60) days at a time.
