You must show that you have held the required money for a consecutive 28-day period (finishing on the date of the closing balance) ending no more than one month before your application. The UK Consulate requires that the proof of funds has enough money to cover length of instruction as evidenced on the School Letter of Sponsorship. - Original Bank Statement with applicants name as an account holder. Must be the most recent statement at the time of application
- Parents can show evidence of funds for applicant with their Original Bank Statement under the following guidelines:
- Applicant must show they are related to the parent(s) or legal guardian with a copy of the birth certificate showing the names of applicants parent(s); copy of the certificate of adoption showing names of both parent(s) or legal guardian; an original court document naming the legal guardian.
- Applicant must also show that the parent(s) or legal guardian have given their permission for applicant to use this money. To do this, applicant must provide a letter from the parent(s) or legal guardian confirming their relationship with the parent(s) or legal guardian; and their permission granting the applicant to use their funds to study in the UK
