Brunei Embassy Information
Brunei is located on Borneo (an island) in Southeast Asia. It shares a coastline with the South China Sea, but it is otherwise completely surrounded by Sarawak, the Malaysian state. In 2018, Brunei boasted a population of 428,963. The Sarawak district of Limbang separates the country into two parts, and it is the only sovereign state that exists completely within the island of Borneo. Brunei’s motto is “Always in service with God’s guidance.” Brunei has become an industrialized country, earning wealth from its natural gas and petroleum fields. It ranks as the fifth-richest nation from these natural gas and petroleum fields, according to Forbes.
