Bangladesh, also known as the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, is located in South Asia. As the world’s 8th-most populous country, it is home to almost 163 million people,[6][7] and spans 56,980 square miles. Bangladesh consists of the Ganges delta, highlands made of evergreen forests, and a seacoast. Bangladesh is one of the most densely-populated countries in the world and borders Myanmar, India, and the Bay of Bengal. The country has a vast array of biodiversity, including plants and wildlife and the Bengal tiger.
