Albania, also known as the Republic of Albania, exists in Southeast Europe and sits on the Adriatic and Ionian Sea within the Mediterranean Sea. The country is bordered by Montenegro, Kosovo, North Macedonia, Greece and shares maritime borders with Greece, Montenegro, and Italy to the west. Albania makes up 11,100 sq miles and has a diverse landscape; the land includes the snow-capped Albanian Alps as well as the warm weather coasts along the Mediterranean Sea.
